EpiCentre becomes bourbon street tonight

Get your sugar fix in more ways than one tonight from cheesecake to beignets and beers to hurricanes. Tonight is full of ways to pair two my favorite things: sweets and parties. Let's get this party started. See in you in the streets...


Sugar Rush - NoDa Brewing Company is teaming up with QC Cheesecakes for a beer and cheesecake pairing event. 6 p.m. Rhino Deli, 1500 W. Morehead St. Suite Free.





















Mardi Gras

EpiCentre Mardi Gras - The EpiCentre transforms into Mardi Gras for the evening with street performers, local team mascots, cheerleaders and bands. EpiCentre will be transformed into the New Orleans French Quarter with decorations, special creole menus, and more. A DJ will play New Orleans Zydeco favorites along with other fitting songs such as the NOLA clap and New Orleans Bounce. “Sugar" Handmade Gourmet Donut food truck will be selling beignets and king cake. There will be multiple Hurricane bars and a parade with marching bands and Krewes starting in front of Mortimer's. 7 p.m. Parade starts at 8 p.m. Tonight, $15 VIP. Paid parking onsite.















Mardi Gras At Letty's - Join the mixmasters of Haunt pop up cocktail as the serve up traditional New Orleans drinks such as Sazerac and Hurricanes to celebrate Mardi Gras. 6 p.m., Tonight, Letty’s, 2121 Shamrock Dr.

Tasty Drinks - After you finish celebrating Mardi Gras at the EpiCentre's giant party, sample five different martinis at Martini Mayhem. 8:30 p.m. - 10:30 p.m. Bubble, EpiCentre, 210 E. Trade St. $30. Paid onsite parking along with nearby parking decks and surface lots.
