A family friendly crawl, Christianish rap and big beats

It's Friday, let the fun begin. There are couple of beer events today and national DJs rocking dancefloors in the NC Music Factory. See you in the streets. Let's get this party started!

Spring Party - Head to Southend for the spring edition of Colure.  Enjoy wine and sake and listen to classic soul, hip-hop, R&B and more grooves spun by the The Mighty DJ DR. Deets. 7 p.m. - 11 p.m. Vin Master, 2000 South Blvd. Free entry and parking.

Two Great DJS - The N.C. Music Factory is going to be jumping with two big DJs. Canadian dubstep DJ Datsik brings his Ninja Nation tour to the Fillmore. He pays tribute to hip-hop’s influence on dubstep. 9 p.m., The Fillmore, 1000 NC Music Factory Blvd., $19.29, www.livenation.com Read more on  Soundbites. Onsite parking available.

At Label, DJ Cedric Gervais brings his incredible grooves. There will be no standing around at this show. Gervais bombastic mixes keeps the dance floor moving. You’ll recognize him his remix of Lana Del Rey's "Summertime Sadness.” 10 p.m. Label, 900 NC Music Factory Blvd. $10 and up.

Rap - I almost made the mistake of calling Lecrae Christian rap, but one listen to the track below and you know he can't be categorized that easily. Lecrae straddles the Christian and mainstream fence with his chart-topping tracks. 7 p.m, Bojangles’ Coliseum, 2700 E. Independence Blvd., $24 and up. More in Soundbites.

Family Friendly Crawl - Head north for the 2nd Friday Craft Walk hosted by D9 Brewing Co. It’s a street festival with bands, artists, food trucks, special performances and craft beer. D9 is partnering with Creative Ej, Cornelius Cultural Arts Group, and Bella Love Inc. to provide entertainment for the family. Deets. 6 p.m.  - 10 p.m., D9 Brewing Company, 11138-C Treynorth Dr., Cornelius, and Oak St Mill, 19725 Oak St, Cornelius. Free. Pet friendly.

More Beer

What A Pair! - Enjoy an evening of classic hits and good beer at the Beatles and Stillwater Tap Takeover. Hear Beatles tunes ranging from the early days to the band's final album. Stillwater created three batch beers Mono, Stereo and Surround. The beers are being paired with how the Beatles recorded their music. Cute concept. 7 p.m., Cork and Cask, 9624 F Bailey Road.
