This Sounds Hilarious - Drag queenMiss Rylee Hunty hosts a trashy game party. This week: Queens Against Humanity - The Hilarious Party Game For Horrible People! Participants should expect fun music and dance numbers. Audience participation is expected. 7 p.m. Dirty Hippie, 5028 South Boulevard (tan building next to Pep Boys, behind Larry's Salon Suites). Free.

Winter Market - Get a start on holiday shopping by purchasing hand-crafted local goods at the Vintage Charlotte 4th Annual Winter Market. The Daily Press CLT will provide coffee, Yelp Charlotte is supplying shopping bags for the first 500 customers, King of Pops Charlotte, Juan Taco Truck and Roots Farm Food will also be there. 11 a.m. The Fillmore, 1000 North Carolina Music Factory Blvd.


Hip-hop Gospel Star - Inspiration singer Kirk Franklin is back with a new album, “Losing My Religion.” He’ll be giving a special performance and signing copies of his CD. 4 p.m. FYE Concord Mills, 8481 Concord Mills Blvd.

Comedy, drag show and dance tonight

It's Friiddaayyyy! The Panthers are in the playoffs and all is right with the world. Time to celebrate with a weekend full of a variety of things to do from comedy to tribute bands. My pick is Wine and Dance at Chop Shop. Read more below. Let's get this party started. See in the streets...


Laugh It Up - Jen Kirkman of "Chelsey Lately" fame, brings her self-deprecating humor to The Comedy Zone, 900 NC Music Factory. Various times tonight and Saturday. $18 and up.
