Comedy, drag show and dance tonight

It's Friiddaayyyy! The Panthers are in the playoffs and all is right with the world. Time to celebrate with a weekend full of a variety of things to do from comedy to tribute bands. My pick is Wine and Dance at Chop Shop. Read more below. Let's get this party started. See in the streets...

Laugh It Up - Jen Kirkman of "Chelsey Lately" fame, brings her self-deprecating humor to The Comedy Zone, 900 NC Music Factory. Various times tonight and Saturday. $18 and up.

Charlotte Rugby Party - Join the Charlotte Royals, our rugby team, for their annual Charlotte Royals Beer Pong TournamentPlay with a partner or solo. Registration starts at 8:15 p.m. Winners receive $50 and prizes. Play starts at 9 p.m., Sidelines Sports Bar & Billiards, 4544 South Blvd.
