I was feeling pretty glum at the A Night At the Races at Prohibition. Every horse I picked lost, and lost badly. I put the remainder of my "money" on a horse named Woof Woof in the third race. I was feeling even worse. Woof Woof was in last place. Cluck Cluck had a sizeable lead. Woof Woof made a last-ditch effort in the last stretch and won!
You would've thought I bet real money, or even had a clue what I was doing. It didn't matter. It was for a worthy cause. A Night At The Races was a fundraiser for the Charlotte GAA, Gaelic Athletic Association. The event featured pretend betting on pre-recorded horse races and raffle giveaways to support the city's three Gaelic football teams.
