Duck Hash at Block and Grinder and yummy Bloody Mary

After talking about it for way too long, I finally tried Block and Grinder for Sunday Brunch. I've eaten there for dinner, and the brunch is just as good.

I ate the Duck Hash with the Rooster Hills Farm duck egg, hash browns, duck confit and arugula peppadew. I'm a hash nut from corned beef to brisket. The duck hash was scrumptious.

I also split the Challah French toast maple syrup, candied pecans, caramel and whipped cream. It was delicious and great to share.  The biggest surprise was the Bloody Mary. I'm a Bloody Mary snob, and Zing Zang is my favorite mix. However, B&G uses Bruce Julian mix, which is an all-natural mix. On first sip, I wasn't feeling it, but I stirred it up and tried again and it was quite tasty. I also asked for mine to be a little spicy. It was great.
