Balls, banging beats and jazz


A new spring tradition is happening uptown, baseball! After the game it's the after-party and there are several to choose from. See you in the streets. Let's get this party started!


Play Ball! - The Charlotte Knights open the season with an exhibition game against parent club, the Chicago White Sox. First 5,000 fans get rally towels. 6:05 p.m. Friday. Prices start at $13.25.









World-renowned DJ -  DJ Prostyle has appeared on “Good Morning America,” BET, MTV and with Diddy. 10 p.m. Suite, 210 E. Trade. $10. Paid and limited street parking.



No Place Like Home - You don’t need a tornado to visit Oz. Spent Entertainment takes you there with Oz, its fifth dream series event. Featured artists include Danny B, Emonei, Ynot and many others. Headliner DJ MK Ultra is known for her electro/hardstyle sound and high energy performances. 10 p.m. Label, 900 NC Music Factory Blvd, Suite B6. $10, $15. Onsite parking available.
